This tattoo has a special story behind it. My friend Scott lost his wife over a year ago, and he was devastated. He wanted to honor her memory with a tattoo that would keep her close to his heart. Scott’s wife loved horses, and this tattoo shows her riding her favorite horse on a winding wood path. The way the trees and the light come together, it’s like she’s ascending to heaven. This black and grey tattoo took us three sessions to complete, and it was an honor to work on it with Scott. Seeing the emotion in his eyes when he saw the finished piece... it’s moments like those that make being a tattoo artist so rewarding . Scott’s grief is still palpable, but I’m so happy to have been able to help him find some solace in this tattoo. It’s a beautiful tribute to his wife, and a reminder that she’ll always be with him.
